upDog Pet Services was created by pet parents for pet parents. If you are anything like us, you couldn't imagine saying "I do" without your four-legged pal as a witness. Unfortunately, making that happen can be a little tricky. Who do you ask to leave the wedding to run the dog home? Who is supposed to keep your dog if your wedding goes past your favorite kennel's drop off hours? That's where we come in! Explore our packages and find one that fits what you're looking for!
About Me
I started out working with animals like a lot of my colleagues, cleaning dirty kennels and shadowing staff in busy vet practices. It wasn’t long before I realized that this was my passion. Over the next 17 years I spent time in private practices, daycare facilities, research at university level, shelters, and then decided to start my own business. In the last 5 years or so, I shifted my focus to behavior and became adamant about providing humane resources in the area I live. Continuing education is important to me so I am committed to staying on top of the newest information out there when it comes to behavior science. I do not utilize any force, correction, or punishment in my handling or training methods. Most recently, I worked as a behavior consultant at a local animal shelter providing enrichment and training plans to the animals on a daily basis. I believe in a positive learning experience for all animals and their humans alike.
